The average import price for coal; bituminous, whether or not pulverised, but not agglomerateds stood at $205 per ton in November 2023, flattening at the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a abrupt contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2023 when the average import price increased by 5.2% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $381 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
