In 2022, the average lead; waste and scrap export price amounted to $1,543 per ton, with a decrease of -3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a noticeable decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 13%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $2,158 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
