Vegetable Oils Price in Denmark (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average vegetable oils import price amounted to $1,786 per ton, reducing by -6% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 19% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $1,900 per ton in May 2023, and then shrank in the following month.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Indonesia.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Indonesia amounted to +1.5% per month.
Vegetable Oils Price in Denmark (FOB) - 2023
The average vegetable oils export price stood at $2,638 per ton in June 2023, declining by -6.4% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 39% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $3,348 per ton. From May 2023 to June 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was South Korea ($6,853 per ton), while the average price for exports to Iceland ($1,040 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ukraine (+6.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Vegetable Oils Imports in Denmark
In 2022, the amount of vegetable fats and oils imported into Denmark reduced to 92K tons, waning by -5.7% on 2021 figures.
