Lithuania was the main exporter of preservative-treated rough wood in Eastern Europe, with the volume of exports recording X cubic meters, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2023. Overall, imports, however, showed significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X cubic meters in 2021; however, from 2022 to 2023, imports remained at a lower figure.
