Exports by Country
Russia was the largest exporting country with an export of about X tons, which amounted to X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Belarus (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Belgium (X tons), together achieving a X% share of total exports. The following exporters - Germany (X tons), Norway (X tons), Poland (X tons), Spain (X tons) and Lithuania (X tons) - together made up X% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to fertilizer exports from Russia stood at X%. At the same time, Belgium (X%) and Belarus (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Belgium emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Europe, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. Spain, Germany and Norway experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Poland (X%), the Netherlands (X%) and Lithuania (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2022 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons, and then fell notably in the following year.

The countries with the highest levels of fertilizer imports in 2023 were France (X tons), Belgium (X tons), Germany (X tons), Poland (X tons), the UK (X tons), Spain (X tons), Italy (X tons), Romania (X tons), Ukraine (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons), together resulting at X% of total import. In value terms, the largest fertilizer importing markets in Europe were France ($X), Germany ($X) and Belgium ($X), together accounting for X% of total imports. Poland, Spain, the UK, Italy, Ukraine, Romania, the Netherlands, Ireland, Lithuania and Hungary lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.
