The exports peaked at X litres in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2023, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, soft drink exports declined to $X in 2023. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2023, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Exports by Country
The Philippines (X litres) was the main destination for soft drink exports from Indonesia, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, soft drink exports to the Philippines exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Malaysia (X litres), twofold. China (X litres) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.
From 2012 to 2023, the average annual growth rate of volume to the Philippines amounted to X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Malaysia (X% per year) and China (X% per year).
In value terms, the Philippines ($X), China ($X) and Malaysia ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for soft drink exported from Indonesia worldwide, together accounting for X% of total exports. Timor-Leste, Nigeria, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Myanmar, Hong Kong SAR, the United States, the UK, Papua New Guinea and Vietnam lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

In 2023, the average soft drink export price amounted to $X per litre, with a decrease of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price saw a perceptible slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average export price increased by X%. The export price peaked at $X per litre in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2023, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was China ($X per litre), while the average price for exports to Myanmar ($X per litre) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Timor-Leste (X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
