From 2021 to 2023, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, garlic imports declined to $X in 2023. Overall, imports recorded a mild decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of X%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2017 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
Brazil represented the main importing country with an import of around X tons, which resulted at X% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Colombia (X tons), Ecuador (X tons) and Chile (X tons), together mixing up a X% share of total imports. Paraguay (X tons) took a little share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to garlic imports into Brazil stood at X%. At the same time, Paraguay (X%), Chile (X%) and Ecuador (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
