India was the largest exporter of dolls and toys in Southern Asia, with the volume of exports reaching X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2023. Bangladesh (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Sri Lanka (X%).
Exports from India increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Bangladesh (X%) and Sri Lanka (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of X%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2023, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, toy imports reduced remarkably to $X in 2023. Overall, imports continue to indicate a perceptible contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2023, imports remained at a lower figure.

Bangladesh (X tons) and India (X tons) prevails in imports structure, together creating X% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Pakistan (X tons), achieving a X% share of total imports.
