Kazakhstan was the largest exporter of peas (dry) in Central Asia, with the volume of exports finishing at X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2023. It was distantly followed by Kyrgyzstan (X tons), constituting a X% share of total exports.
Exports from Kazakhstan increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Kyrgyzstan (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Kyrgyzstan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Central Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. In value terms, dry peas imports shrank notably to $X in 2023. Overall, imports, however, showed resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2022, and then contracted sharply in the following year.
Imports by Country
Kyrgyzstan was the main importer of peas (dry) in Central Asia, with the volume of imports resulting at X tons, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2023. Kazakhstan (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Uzbekistan (X tons). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total imports. Tajikistan (X tons) held a little share of total imports.
Kyrgyzstan was also the fastest-growing in terms of the peas (dry) imports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2023.
