Despite the increased use of modern agricultural techniques and methods, future yield figures may still be impacted by adverse weather conditions.

Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. By contrast, Kyrgyzstan (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Uzbekistan (X p.p.) and Kazakhstan (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2023, the share of Tajikistan (X p.p.), Azerbaijan (X p.p.), Russia (X p.p.), Belarus (X p.p.) and Kyrgyzstan (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

Russia was the main importing country with an import of about X tons, which reached X% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Uzbekistan (X tons), Kazakhstan (X tons), Azerbaijan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons), together committing a X% share of total imports. The following importers - Belarus (X tons) and Moldova (X tons) - each resulted at a X% share of total imports.
